Kingston As A Hero In Beowulf's Heroic Hero

I Kingston, one of Beowulf’s bravest soldiers was there when he defeated the infamous monster in Herot. I not only heard of the story heard of the story but witnessed it with my own eyes. He Beowulf the great one, the most heroic man for hundreds of lands to come. As a slept quietly but very cautious, I was then awoken by a loud noise. I jumped up fast to see Beowulf Tussling with that slimy serpent like creature Grendel. As they were fighting I noticed Beowulf didn’t even use his battle weapons his bare hands. A man with this much strength in his own bare hands was never seen by Grendel. Grendel thought he had an easy victim, but when he realized it was the total opposite. I could see the look of regret, fear and terror in gredels eyes as he was being strangled to death by Beowulf’s bare hands. As badly as I wanted to sever Grendel’s head off with my sword, it was no use. No sword could penetrate, puncture the skin of this beast, let alone kill the slimy serpent. …show more content…
That then made him retreat, left him scurrying back to his dark cave with only on arm to show from the battle he had lost. It was a joyful sight to see; we all screamed with joy as we lifted Beowulf onto our shoulders and chanted “The almighty Beowulf, the almighty Beowulf” I witnessed Herot returning back to normal, regaining its pride and moral. Warriors, kings, queens, and leaders all came just to see the monsters great tracks of struggling. From the conversations I heard and body language people showed, I could tell no one felt sorrow, neither did anyone regret Beowulf’s
