Kindling Love
She despised him. He was a lying, back-stabbing, rat who deserved his heart to be smashed into a thousand pebbles. He had been manipulating her friend, Kelsey, for nearly three years and she knew every evil detail of his snake like existence. She was disgusted with his slightest inhalation and sluggish movements. Then her friend, the one whom had her heart broken numerous times by this naive and demonic boy, invited him to come home with the two girls. Kelsey was starred-eyed at the devil’s creation, and Grace could smell the pulchritude stink the boy carried with him. Grace had seen this boy in her Track and Field class but never cared for his arrogance use of life. Friendships where the friends follow each other can create effects like strong values in one another or great singing duos such as the “Bella Thorn and Zendaya Coleman duo.”(Johnni) These two girls dance and sing in Disney channel and have empowered girls all over America through the television show Shake It Up. Thus, having the love of a friend affecting one’s emotions and actions can and should promote fulfilling joy and powerful advancement in the world. The love of a partner is a different story with a deeper understanding, however.
The love of a partner can make an individual feel joyful due to the “peripheral serotonin, a chemical produced within the brains.” This chemical reaction can destroy “depression or drug addictions.”(Radwan) The chemical drastically affects the male and female body differently than most people would assume. “Men in love had a lower serotonin in their bodies” and “women produce a higher income of serotonin,” as proven in a 2012 Langeslag and colleagues study.
