Bhuyan says “Our eyes alone perceive the difference, while our minds commit the sin” (Bhuyan L.3-4). She is stating that just because people have different appearances than one another does not mean we are different from each other. People tend to separate people into categories based on appearance, then give these categories ranks, causing superiority and inferiority between them.
