Ghost in 17th Floor When I was a kid, the most fascinating things were listening to ghost stories. We did not have any other options because there was no electricity in the countryside. We had to use an old portable lamp, which wasn’t always bright. I couldn’t even see ten feet from where I stand. We had to hold it in our face to see by walking slowly, so slow it would take forever to look for anything. At night after dinner we usually have an extra hours to talk about what happened during the day. So, we placed the old lamp in the middle of the living room table and the game is on.
On night my uncle Reginald decided to end a beautiful day with some demonic stories. He started with a

Due to that renovation they vacant every single room and shut down the whole floor. The project was still ongoing for the past three months, because the workers were very slow. Every night before we leave someone has to go upstairs to make sure everything is secured and there weren’t anybody left in the floor. It was on a Saturday night at 10:45 PM when I received a call to go checked upstairs. I grabbed a flashlight and put it back, I said I will not need a flashlight because there is light inside the room. The hotel looked lively as expected, I went to the Mezzanine level to take the center elevator. I went inside, press my button floor and rode upstairs. I exited the elevator after it gave the destination noise. As soon as, I stepped out outside I had bad feeling like something abnormal is in the air. I glanced left and right I heard nothing but the silence. The hallway seem so dark with the light dimmed all the way down. The creepy music in the ceiling speaker were so low, low enough I can hear it inside my head. It felt like I was inside a horror movies but the difference is, it was real. I checked room after room but I feel like there is something with me I cannot see. The rooms looked like an abandoned house. There were dust everywhere the furniture were covered with transparent plastic but unable see anything because there were

Every time I would go upstairs no one was there. So just out of curiosity we set up the camera and watched the footage the very next day. To our surprise we seen what looked like an old man humped over, walking across the living room and sit in my dad’s chair, the image soon faded away. At that moment we were all freaked out because we knew this wasn’t a joke or that this video had been altered in…

To emphasize, ten years is a long time for not seeing anyone. The people do not get-up-and-go outside: since they are consumed by indoor technology. No company gets mournful after a while, especially if you are lonely. Fewer people form a more melancholic life; which leads to a bleaker mood. Not to mention, the town is not lively.…

I just blamed it on a ghost and was scared. A few months ago my mom had to go pick up my dad from work and she took my brothers with her so I had to walk home and stay home alone. I had gotten home around 4:30 and I had music class at 5 so I had to eat fast so I can walk to music class. I made myself a Nutella sandwich and I got a cup of milk. I turned on the TV so the house would not seem quiet.…

With my deepest fright stuck in this room, I can say that not many people have wanted to enter but one. The room is cold as a winter night. The walls are a dull gray. A hard leather recliner sits in the left corner of the room with a cream blanket thrown across its back as if waiting on someone to come take the warmth it provides. A…

As the sweat poured down his back as he slowly opened one eye. Wanting to laugh, but he didn’t. Upon entering the house, Justin looked around the small dark living room, noticing the ragged and worn drapes covering part of the large window. An old blanket hung over the rest of the window preventing the outside light from entering except through a rip on one end. Watching Ernest turn on a dim light amazed him.…

The lack of sleep caused us to move sluggishly from room to room putting whatever we could into it’s designated box. This went on for hours into the morning until we realized that procrastinating to pack an entire house was a terrible decision; it seemed like every time we packed something and thought we were making progress, there was always another closet, another cabinet, another room, and we only had two rooms, so to make it seem like there was more was torture. Three days after we were supposed to be in California, we were still in Texas. We had left earlier in the day, but as were were on the highway we noticed smoke coming from the moving truck which put us into a panic trying to get off and away from the smoking truck. We parked at a gas station and extinguished the flames where we found out were coming from the dolly that the car sat on.…

I managed to inch close enough to touch one of the fauns before they were scared off by the others returning. That night I had to sleep alone in my tent because my friend’s dad had stayed after Thursday and he was sleeping with him. I barely slept and woke up at four A.M. to take a shower and wait for everyone else to wake up so that we could leave. I finally arrived home at noon on July fourth and I did not leave the house for a week. Although my overall uneasiness for the camp remained, I went back to Hohn another four times throughout my career in Boy Scouts.…

She could not afford to pay for the electricity bill, so my neighbor connected an extension cord going into our home, so that we could use lamps for light. There was no food at home, therefore, my neighbor would invite me over to eat breakfast and dinner at her home. Not to mention, we did not know one of the men renting a room was a drug dealer. On a Friday afternoon, I was walking home from school and as I had arrived at my home, I noticed everyone in the house being arrested, including my mother. After the scene, I was sent to court and moved…

This shows that boo is locked up because Jem is ten years old and he has never seen Boo so he has not been out of the house in at least ten years. The third reason Boo is locked up is that not very many people come and go from the Radley place. In the text it states, “and he was one of the few persons we ever saw ever enter or leave the place” (Lee 14). This tells that Boo is locked up because only a few people come and go and if he was not locked up the house would have people coming and staying and it would be a busy house. The second reason that the kids will never meet Boo is that they are scared of him.…

As we walk in to the Emergency section of the hospital, the building seemed to have a lot of new construction done to the outside. The siding of the building was as shiny as a new piece of tinfoil. As appealing as the outside of the hospital was, the registration area was not so appealing. The scene was one from a horror movie, where someone would be locked in a 5X5 room that seemed to be a torture chamber. The walls felt like you were in a tin can, claustrophobic and only one way out.…
