Supernatural is a popular T.V. show on CW about two brothers named Dean and Sam Winchester who go around hunting monsters. Being a popular T.V. show comes with many things such as fans shipping two characters together. Fans see two characters that aren’t specifically kissing as being a couple through even the smallest hints that the T.V. show provides. A T.V. show that is a great example of this is Supernatural since it proves that Dean and Castiel are in a relationship. Misha the actor who plays Castiel can see what is going on between Castiel and Dean. Misha has said when talking about season nine “C’mon, in the first few episodes, Dean’s running around Purgatory, chopping off heads, where’s the angel, where’s the angel, you know the guy …show more content…

She mentions actions that can be easily missed like how in season seven episode one “Dean’s jaw clenches when he hears the woman on T.V. describe Cas as sexy” (Flutiebear). Even though this isn’t a conversation between Dean and Castiel Flutiebear is able to write how it relates to them. She has explanations after every proof she writes about. In her words the reason Bobby’s conversation with Rufus relates to Dean and Castiel is because Bobby and his wife fought before she died and now Castiel has died before he and Dean could make up. However Flutiebear could have done an analysis on a season other than seven since Supernatural has a lot of Destiel in other seasons …show more content…

It all starts out the same with the moment it is realized is when the fans find out it was Castiel who raised Dean from hell. There are moments listed about the interactions between Dean and Castiel. They have influence on each other just like friends would like when Castiel said “Hey assbutt” which is something Dean says (Steinfeld). Friends won’t let you behind and will always be trying to do their best for you. Castiel leaves Dean alone to protect him from the Levithans that are after him. Dean right away tries to get him and Castiel out of Purgatory and feels guilty when he isn’t able to. This article could have given the specific episode along with the season to make it better. This article by Aja Romano is about Supernatural’s two hundredth episode. The two hundredth episode of Supernatural is called fanfiction. It has to do with fans creating a musical with shipping subtext just the way they see it. The two hundredth episode has “over implied homoerotic” (Romano) between Dean and Castiel. The mention of how Supernatural wasn’t trying to insult fans with this episode was a good
