The Artificial Nigger is a very strong story that has a big meaning to me out of all three. But throughout the middle part of it, these friends get on a bus to go to Atlanta and the one friend sees a black person and cannot understand why his friend is freaking out and why it is a big issue. Not only have they both been to Atlanta the one friend does not remember traveling there at one point. The key part of this story is when they describe thoroughly how these guys felt about these colored folks. Revelation has a little different perspective on the type of discrimination but still she has a problem with others. So describing the meaty part of this one is when she is trying to find a seat she does many tricks to get someone out of a seat. Also mentioned very detailed that she is very fat. Finding a seat for a very wide load is very difficult, which puts her on her rage about how she is in these classes with these other ladies and how she does not like the black people that Rome her town. “White Trash” was used often in this story that sparked my eye and got my attention. You can pretty much just tell she is a lady that just wants to be pretty and only cares for herself which in other words cocky. They have a crazy experience during their time in Atlanta and when then get back on the bus they have a mind blowing discovery that Atlanta and the reality of racism is wild. He thinks to himself that dang that is crazy how we struggle with our relationship with different colors at that time. Now in the revelation it takes a tole and she finally hits earth and that time when she enters her house she has many sorrow thoughts. Her mind then goes into a god given gift like she was set out to do this. After reading revelation it put a big turn on the way I saw some things. Then judgement day which is the third and final story I had to compare the similar connection between these stories by Mrs. O Connor. Going through with moving in with his daughter he finally has enough and leaves. Walking out the door he suddenly has another stroke. Right there watching it all in person was those neighbors. And so now when the neighbors leave them do him dirty by not calling anybody but just moving his body and leaving. Ending in burying him in New York he never wanted she felt guilty and burying him back in the home
