Angela found that knowing her differences in her culture from those who she went to school with made the teasing affect her less. Angela states “Over time, I was more aware of differences. At friends’ houses I was aware that my family doesn’t eat the kind of breakfast food most Americans eat.(Park 1)” Angela was able to find out that everyone is different from one another and this helped her as she got older. Angela then decided to work in a field where people find their differences and uses these differences to benefit organizations. Kylie was able to explain the benefit of riding horses in front of everyone, and confront someone to realize that disability doesn’t stop someone from doing something that they put their mind too. During Kylie's presentation she had explained the benefit of riding horses, Rebecca then confronted her about the program for disabled people in hopes to sign her sister up for the program. Rebecca and Kylie state “ REBECCA. My sister is disabled. Is there a riding program for people like her? KYLIE. Definitely. Therapeutic riding can be beneficial for all kinds of people. I can tell you more about it after class.(5)” Kylie’s presentation was able to help her overcome drawing attention to her disability and help a classmates
