Reflective Essay On Tattoos

Experiencing a Tattoo “My body is my journal, and my tattoos are my story”. (Depp) I have three tattoos, each of them have a different meaning: furthermore, each experience getting them is different. As I observed others receiving their tattoos I noticed they had other experiences that differed from mine. While some people may not like tattoos, my first tattoo had a lot of meaning to it, it helped me through tough times because every tattoo I get on my body will mean something to me, my second tattoo helped me overcome some life choices, my third tattoo means probably the most to me because of who I was and who I am now are different, “that you are never too far to be made new”; on the other hand, I would like to tell you about my experiences …show more content…
Everything that went through my mind the same question just kept popping up I could not get over will it hurt? The question literally ran through like a cross country winner. After a while of talking with several adults who have tattoos, I noticed the same response from all of them. This tattoo out of all three make a big part of who I am; however, the thought process was different. The tattoo is a feather with birds flying out of it with the words “you are never too far to be made new” Basically the tat shows my faith and what I believe in. Over the year I experienced several life differences and the outcome after changed me. With my faith the meaning behind the tattoo means literally what it says; however, getting the tattoo hurt more.
