She begins the talk by describing how she started to hear this amiable voice in her head. However, as time progressed it became very hostile, and more voices began to appear. One strength of hers’ was she was able to capture the audience 's attention right away in her opening statement. She did this by first explaining how her very first episode developed. Eleanor used vivid imaginary and the first words that were spoken to her on that first day when one of the voices appeared. Another strength of hers was she seemed very passionate about trying to help others that are in her shoes by telling the audience the achievements she was able to achieve hoping it would give someone hope. Additionally, Eleanor would discreetly tell the audience there are resources out there for people with schizophrenia or for a family member that has a relative who is schizophrenic. Furthermore, there were a few setbacks, for instance, in the first few minutes of the TED talk she would slur her some of her words which made it difficult to understand. As the TED talk progresses, near the end when she began to discuss about her achievements it seemed random and out of order. Such as she was thinking off the top of her her head. Moreover, one way this TED talk could have been more effective by explaining how she was able to figure out how these voices were metaphors relating to bottled up emotions. I feel like if she elaborated more on that topic it would provide more insight for people that are going through those tough times. In
