Even though, Agars use of incorporating examples of Hollywood distortion of human enhancement into his reading “Star Wars: Attack of the Clones and Star Trek: Nemesis”, (Agar 20) helps the audience understand what he’s talking about in a visual sense, creating relatability. replacing what he believes to be Hollywood’s misinforming with scientific facts it creates a more of an encrypted base for information. Blacks work makes his position strong and clear whereas Agars overuse of sources brings confusion and hesitance. In this quote Black predicts that in the future all parents will “ want to improve the quality of their children’s +futures”, (Black 422) this may be derived from his perception of the idealistic society we are becoming and his experiences with Adolf Hitler’s desired race.
