Donald john Trump was born on June 14th, 1946 in Queens, New York. He is an American Businessman, politician, and the President-elect of the United States of America. In 1971, he chaired the Trump Organization which is the principal holding company for his real estate ventures and the interests of some of his other businesses. In the past, Donald Trump has built office towers, hotels, casinos, golf courses, and other branded facilities throughout the world. Trump has received a bachelor’s degree in economics from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania in 1986. He had been elected the 45th President of the United States in the 2016 election as part of the Republican Party. He announced his candidacy for president, in June 2015, as a Republican and quickly emerged as the front-runner for his party’s nomination. In May 2016, the remaining rivalries from the Republican Party suspended their campaigns, and in July he was formally nominated for president at the 2016 Republican National Convention. In a presidential election, the popular vote simply means a collection of all voters from all states in America. The candidate who gets the most votes nationwide is said to have won the popular vote. The winner of the popular vote may end up losing the election.
