This is how I plan on supplementing the franchise for the first several years, or as long as needed. Another clear advantage a franchise system offers is with support from the franchisor as well as the other franchisees. Conversely, with my current profession the people you would ask for help are also your chief competitors and therefore not as committed to your success. I feel with a franchise system it is in everyone’s best interest to help each other offering guidance as well as what has and hasn’t worked. When choosing a franchise I considered two key aspects. The first and most important, is would I enjoy the work and the people I would be working with as well as my client base. I can’t imagine anyone else I would rather have for clients than pet lovers. My wife and I both love dogs and I generally like people who also share this love of dogs. I must admit I would never say I love cats, but I like them and understand people’s devotion to their pets. The second is the potential for financial security both short and long term. I have examined the financial growth in the pet industry and find it extremely encouraging, both current and projected growth. After further evaluation Wag N Wash seemed like a likely candidate.
