Rachel Sexton is the daughter of Senator Sedgewick Sexton. Rachel works for a government program known as the National Reconnaissance Office, NRO, where she analyzes information and reports it directly to the president. Currently she is in an awkward situation because her father is running for president and she works very closely with the current president. During the presidential campaign, Senator Sexton has repeatedly talked about how NASA is a money pit and how they haven’t made a significant discovery in years.
