Most of us students were used to a healthy and satisfactory home-cooked meal at least once a day prepared by our parents. Here on college, unless you were blessed with great culinary skills or have a lot of time and desire to experiment on cooking, a nice homemade dinner will not always be possible. It is also necessary that every student gets not only delicious but also nutritious food.

Considering this proposition, the management of our college has decided to open up a food joint that caters to all these demands of a customer under one roof. The objective is to launch this project within a time frame of 60 days and the budget allocated for the project is Rs 20, 00,000. A project team, consisting of 7 members, including a project manager, would be constituted. Each team member would be assigned a functional department of the project, for which, he would be the sole in-charge and who would, in turn, report to the project manager. It would be the role of the project manager to collaborate with all the functional heads harmoniously and ensure smooth functioning of the project.

PROJECT OBJECTIVE

The main objective of the project is to gather the data(time and cost) of constructing a food joint in a college and then further analyze it, by using various scheduling and cost estimation methods, for performance. The
