The quote, "Character is what you are in the dark" -Dwight Lyman Moody reminds me of a book called I heart you, you haunt me. In the book the girl is trying to figure out who she is while falling on love with a boy and she never really acted like herself around people, she was too shy to be herself in public. She never really resolves the conflict it just gets worse over time. The quote is saying that you are yourself when you are alone, that your true self comes out. Some people have different characters, but that makes us who we are.
