The writer does not mention much about how this movement became so empowering. In the second paragraph, Uhruh suggests, “The movement developed after the shooting deaths of black teens Trayvon Martin and Michael Brown… creating the hashtag ‘Black Lives Matter’.” Sadly, he never mentions the extremely offensive and embarrassingly fierce opposing statements such as: All Live Matter, White Lives Matter, and Blue Lives Matter. Unruh does not recognize that we obviously know that all lives matter and that that's not that point of the ‘Black Live Matter’ movement. He rambles to say that there's more cops dying than black people in our country today not recognizing that we created this whole situation. America is literally lying in the bed americans made.
In conclusion, Unruh is totally bias towards the belief that the “Black Lives Matter” movement is hurting black lives more than it is helping their lives. When in reality, this has been the most empowering movement for african-american. We do not know what it is like to live in a society that is racist towards someone with a black skin color. Racism is alive and
