In the case of Sadd v. Big Tugg Co. it is my opinion that Bigg Tugg Co. was justified in their denial of interview notes being handed over to Mrs. Sadd’s attorney. According to federal rule 26(a)(3), witness statements, attorney notes and other evidence does not have to be given to the opposing council unless “they are otherwise discoverable under Rule 26(b)(1); and the party shows that it has substantial need for the materials to prepare its case and cannot, without undue hardship, obtain their substantial equivalent by other means” (The National Court Rules Committee, 2014-2016). This essentially means that the opposing party must try to get as much information as they can on their own before asking the defendant for the information they…

The plaintiff had a miscarriage on May 16th, 1995. The crux of the Michigan case rest largely upon nine (9) purported intercepted calls, which if proven false would not subject either brother to an indictment or to Michigan’s jurisdiction. The record lacks any evidence to prove that the lawyers filed several motions important to the outcome of the case. They did not file a Frank’s motion, a Motion to Suppress Evidence of Illegal Wiretapping under Title III and there is no motion under 901, 704 or 701 that could identify the voice or establish the identity of the parties to the telephone calls. Further, the courts have expressed great danger of unfair prejudice in allowing expert testimony to offer an opinion about drug code words in a narcotic transaction. It appears from the record that David and Solomon's lawyers lied when they claimed that they moved the Court with these motions and further that the government experts identified Solomon’s voice; therefore, in light of that information that a plea was their only option.…

Throughout the Civil Rights Movement, African Americans gained more rights than ever before. The Voting Rights Act of 1965 made voting more accessible, the Civil Rights Act of 1964 outlawed racial discrimination in public accommodations, and public figures like Jackie Robinson revolutionized predominately white aspects of American culture. During their time on American soil, African Americans went from slaves, to compensated slaves, to oppressed citizens. Despite these significant advancements, the United States had a long way to go before it could accurately call itself “a nation with liberty and justice for all,” as stated in its Pledge of Allegiance. Racism continued, it was just no longer endorsed by the federal government.…
