Beyoncé is making headlines once again. This time because of her performance in Coachella last weekend. It doesn’t matter if she didn’t bring her hubby Jay-Z, her sister Solange or her Destiny’s Child members Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams.
Queen Bey delivered a smoking hot show on Coachella festival’s center stage at California. Last year, she bowed out from performing and was replaced by Lady Gaga. During her performance, she mentioned that she became the first female black artist to headline the festival. Coachella festival has been long criticized for lacking diversity specifically when it comes to its lineup of top-billed performers.
Last year, Lady Gaga became the second woman and the first one in ten years to headline the music festival. Given the statistics, everyone including the attendees, performers, and fellow musicians were raving at the thought that Queen Bey will make history at the event. The show ran 27 songs in just two hours.

A lot of celebrities and famous people are making sure that social media knows how much they admire Queen Bey including Elizabeth Banks, Chance the Rapper, and Ava Duvernay.
While Rihanna may be too busy during the day to post on Instagram as she hosted a pool party at the festival, Adele was watching the festival at home. She even posted a number of boomerangs of herself while dancing to Queen Bey’s performance. She’s seen whipping her hair around and it’s no secret how much she adores
