The 2016 Presidential Election has so far garnered plenty of media attention and surprisingly a lot of laughs thanks to one, Mr. Donald Trump. Trump and Hillary Clinton have been the most talked about candidates. The emergence of Sanders onto the presidential scene highlights the ever evolving opinions of the American public and the growing power of social media. If the presidential election continues on as it has so far it will surely prove to be an interesting one. The article, “Bernie Sanders: A Man With A Cause” unbiasedly explains who Bernie Sanders is and what his political opinions are in a clear and concise manner. Cassidy writes that his policies include “reforming the tax code to make the rich pay more, raising the federal minimum wage to fifteen dollars an hour, reforming trade policies, breaking up the big banks, and turning Medicare into a public health-care system for Americans of all ages”.
