There are many different perspectives of change. Change comes about every day in life, there are many types of change in the world. Change occurs in many different forms and is carried out in multiple ways. Time changes to accommodate the change of the season. Change is not always positive but will always show imperfections or facets in a plan or situation. Often times change is like a snow storm it comes without warning. It is an inevitable fact of life and progression, many see change as positive, while others see it as negative. Changing the United States of America ethically would mean society would have to know what is morally correct and incorrect. Obama States “Taking full responsibility for our own lives by demanding more from our fathers, and spending more time with our children, and reading to them, and teaching them that while they may face challenges and discrimination in their own lives, they must never succumb to despair or cynicism; they must always believe that they can write their own destiny” (Obama 311). President Obama challenges the nation to become united ethically by pouring into the youth. Barack Obama implores parents to give their children the basic building blocks of success, courage, and moral fortitude. Obama acknowledges that there will be struggles and moments of terror or despair but goes on to remind the nation that writing your own destiny is still possible in these United States of America.
