An abundance of Katherines is a fun, light hearted and reflective story written by John Green; the novel tells the story of Colin Singleton, a 17 year old and prodigy child, and the thing that he discovers of himself and his surroundings on his first road trip after his last break up. Through the story we get to know the dreams, aspirations and issues of Colin and how he struggles to find the answers to his problems. We also get to know two very important people on Colin’s life; his best friend Hassan and her new friend, and later on new girlfriend, Lindsey. The story starts right after Colin breaks up with her ninetieth girlfriend named Katherine and he is completely heartbroken by that; his best, and only, friend Hassan convinces him and
