Analysis Of Adios Amor

Throughout my lifetime, there has been moments of laughter as well as grief. But a moment in my life that was pivotal was when I first felt the love of my life, at the moment, fade away slowly from me and sort of detach from our relationship. The song by Christian Nodal- “Adios Amor” showed me how at times when the love fades between partners to the point where there is no love at all, you have to do your best to move on rather than spending time grieving the love that is lost. Therefore, the song “Adios Amor” gave me the tough realization that some relationships are best to let go of if they don’t work as a young adult, and will continue to guide me throughout my life. “Adios Amor” tells about how hard it is to be betrayed by the person you …show more content…
This song remined me of a point in my life where I felt that my girlfriend at the time seemed to be drifting away from me. Bit by bit she started neglecting me and really letting me know that she truly had lost the love she had for me! That is why this song is so important because although the whole point of the song is about letting go of a love for a woman that is gone and the relationship ended. There is special verses that caught my attention such as, “me ire sin marcha atras porque seria fatal” which translates to I will go away without a return because it would be fatal. This I really for a strange reason got a strong connection with this because time in and out me and my girlfriend had arguments in the past but when we broke up I knew that I was best to just not try and keep going with a hurting relationship like we had! Because I knew that I wouldn’t be fatal like how the song details but It would be a sad and hurting turnout that would come if I had decided to keep chasing her knowing she didn’t love me! That is why this verse of the song struck out to me because I felt that the story that this singer was telling was what I was living daily, in my relationship. Another verse of the song that struck out for me was,” Como me duele perderte/ me resignare a olvidarte/ porque me fallaste” the verses translate to: “oh how much it hurts me to lose you/ I will resign to forget you/ because you failed me.” This …show more content…
The music video is set in a tequila plantation and Bar and probably rural Mexico. This is nothing like where my relationship took place by any means. The setting didn’t have as much of an impact it was just overall the actions in which took place in the video. The singer started off by working out in the tequila fields and after a long hard day at work came by the to see his girl. This made me feel like me and my girlfriend after a long day at school or work we knew that we would always come see each other at the end of the day, which really helped me develop this deep connection knowing that at one point only the words drew my attention to the song but after seeing these scenes in the video I really saw a different point that brought me even closer to truly feeling the song thoroughly! As the video progresses on a scene of the singer coming by to the bar to see his girl he find her suddenly cuddled up to another man! This leaves him devastated and he starts to lose the love he had for her and tries to gain back her love by serenating her. At this point is when I knew little by little that this song was telling my story, because after many arguments me and my partner had I had always tried to do something special for her, not like serenating her, but like asking her to go out to watch a movie, get her a little gift, something to let her know that I truly appreciated her and loved her even though we

Love is often blinding to the beholder. It controls and makes its victim powerless. In Ai’s “Why Can’t I Leave You,” the speaker realizes her relationship with her husband is not progressing. She knows he prevents her from growing as a human being, but she cannot find the will to leave him. In Dorianne Laux’s “Facts About the Moon,” the author compares the Earth’s weakening gravitational pull on the Moon to the control a mother loses towards her disrespectful son whom she still loves.…

While listening to the song, the one statement played constantly is, “I’m always gonna want you back”. This line really helps to add emphasis for it is in the chorus of the song. It appears often when sung, “No matter where I go, I'm always gonna want you back, No matter how long you're gone, I'm always gonna want you back, I know you know I will never get over you, No matter where I go, I'm always gonna want you back, Want you back.” Because of this constant repetition of this line, we can understand how much the guy sincerely wants this girl back in his life.
