The setting of there place is practically the universe they went to Camazots , Uriel , the happy planet, Ixchel, and of course earth. It’s different because in our time we can’t time travel to Camazots or Ixchel. Also in the part of the book they mention stuff they have in there fridge and it’s barely anything. Also braces weren’t made til somewhere around 1800’s and Meg has braces . So I believe that the time of the book is in the 1900s . Charles Wallace , Calvin O’Keefe , and Meg are the main characters. Charles Wallace was a nice little boy but when he looked into the guy with red eyes he changed, he was rude to Meg, Calvin, and Charles Wallace and Meg’s father. Calvin, when Meg and him first met he wasn’t really nice to her,but during the trip he held her hand and even gave her a kiss at the end before she went to save Charles. Meg throughout the whole story seems to be fearful. The conflict is how they go to Camazots and Charles gets hypnotized. The guy with red eyes told him if you look into my eyes I’ll show you your father , so Charles did. He is now controlled by IT, and Meg and Calvin don’t know how to turn him back. Charles showed them a guy at first Meg did not know but then she soon realized it’s her father. But now Charles wants to take them to IT. So they go and they saw IT and it was a giant brain. Meg’s father got Calvin and her out , but they went to a different place called Ixchel. Meg goes back to Camazots hoping to save Charles . Afraid

The relationship between Calvin and Meg was shown to be stronger than expected when nearing the end of chapter 13 when Calvin kisses Meg when saying her goodbyes before she returned to Camazotz alone. As said on page 97, “Calvin came to her and took her hand, then drew her to him and kissed her. He didn’t say anything, and he turned away before he had a chance to see the surprised happiness that brightened her eyes.” There was also a moment of foreshadowing in the beginning of this book when Meg talks to Calvin about her feeling with her dad gone and he complimented her eyes in a way that seemed a bit more than friendly. These details were not included in the movie as Meg and Calvin hugged near the end of the movie, but no more, as he left to his house.…
