Ads that I found amusing. I specifically noticed that Carl’s Jr uses mainly female models for advertisement. What I found amusing was that mostly all of the ads demonstrate models that are half exposed and that all fit into one body size. In the ad, the model is standing outside, in front of the camera, holding a hamburger in one hand, with a flirty or seductive facial expression, as men in the background are mesmerized, by either her beauty or the fact that she’s holding a messy hamburger. I understand that the message is that, one hamburger will not cause any harm to the physical body, and that in some way it’s attractive to men, when a women holds a hamburger, but in a way I feel, that those ads discriminate women that are different sizes besides skinny. This ad also exposes the female body, to the attention of males, which is something that can commonly be found in society. After I found the first ad, I found another one where it’s represented by Kim Kardashian. This ad is less exposed, but still does show some skin. It also gives that message, that if one doesn’t want a big messy burger, there are other options like a salad and a diet coke. This ad is more realistic to what women are expected to eat, to consume a “nice
