This writer had the privilege to partake in a CLC group assignment on designing a close read lesson plan. As a current teacher it is extremely important to this writer to take time on designing a lesson plan that will support the needs of all this writer’s students and motivate learning gains for all students despite their learning levels. This writer’s lesson plan was geared around a close read title “My Five Senses”. The unit of study was identifying the five senses. In this writer’s original lesson plan, this writer worked with the purple group to conduct a lesson plan for Kindergarten. This writer’s responsibilities were to create differentiated instruction, objective, and closure. This writer honestly thought their portion of the lesson
