College is one of three things, in my personal opinion: A necessity, a milestone, or a daycare. The latter, normally not so much, as it only truly applies to those few who either are sent on daddy’s dime or lucky enough to get a scholarship but ultimately loony enough to waste it, I.E. jocks who do not make it, or smart kids who get caught up in “freedom”. The next category are those who see college as a milestone; the rags to riches stories who will inevitably become the empowering speakers of tomorrow, or the genius who were destined to attend college. Lastly, the majority, those who attended college because they must to reach their career goals. Yet, for C.A. Newberry, a blogger on Honest college advice, college is a place seemingly for the ill-prepared.
