Simultaneously, Mr. Shaw’s students resemble brainwashed minions sitting surrounded by faces of the past. Being unable to accept any other guidance or association outside his sphere of influence his students unknowingly suffer. Refusing to even to support charity under Mrs. Harley’s name alone. In the beginning, sucked in by the promise of independent thought, Mr. Shaw turns into an imposing force always looming over them like the dark tower that holds the Eye of Sauron above Middle Earth all seeing and demanding of subjugation.
