Great Men of the Bible
There are many great men found men found throughout the Bible. Their stories range from walking with Jesus to betraying him. Two great men in particular, display the characteristics of trustworthiness and the ability to steadfast and obey the Lord and what he has commanded them to do.
During the time when Moses was born, Pharaoh was the King of Egypt. He told all the midwives of the Hebrew women to destroy any boys that were delivered. Moses led the Israelites out of bondage, while Noah saved animals, and his family members from the great flood. These two situations have a common factor which is water, but what is most important is that these two men were trusted with the lives of others. In both circumstances, God destroyed, or punished the evil, the Egyptians in Exodus and the corrupt and violent in Genesis. Both Noah and Moses were kept from drowning, because they obeyed God and refrained from questioning what God intended to happen, and commanded to perform an action in which saved lives. Noah and Moses were teased for following God’s commandments, but that did not keep them from doing so. The stories of Moses leading the Israelites out of Egypt and Noah and the flood have similarities, but these two stories also have
