Human beings greatest technological accomplishment have brought progress, however this “progress” is not always positive. Nicholas Carr is a American writers who usually writes about the controversy of technology. Carr explains in his article “Is Google Making us Stupid” how as a writer he used the internet often. Now Carr believes he has lost his concentration while reading. In Carr’s words; his concentration starts to drift after reading two or three pages. Individuals who use an excessive amount of the internet will therefore result in getting easily distracted, becoming more relying and even affect the human mind.
Frequently when individuals use Google there could be many distractions and might even start to waste time. The reason for this is because individuals are relying on technology to do simple things for them such as spell,wake them up, and remind them of thing they have to do during the day.
