If you work for a small business, you’ve most likely heard someone say that they “wear many hats.” Consequently, when new technologies arise it’s a struggle for many small businesses to find someone in the organization to not only learn about it, but to find the time to complete the tasks.
Now I’m a firm believer that there is always time to something. If it’s important enough to you, then you’ll find the time. But sometimes if you work for a small business, you are in fact too overwhealmed with running the operation to create content.

I’ll get to the reason why on Day 3. But I do like to make notes of what I hope to write. You don’t have to use complete sentences here, words will be suffice. For example, your outline may start out like this:
Intro:
Importance of content
Stat
Accountability
As you can see, I have three points I wanted to make in the introduction of this blog. I used this outline when writing. If you are using information from someone else’s blog, make a note to attribute the writer and website here. You don’t want to use information from someone else without giving credit.
Lastly, understand that you can change from your outline. This isn’t something you have to stick to. This is merely something you can use on Day 3 when you are staring at a blank page.
Day 3: Rough Draft
Writing a rough draft in 20 minutes may seem difficult. But if you have an outline complete, this step is so much easier. On day 3, just write for twenty minutes.
