My idols are usually based on who I am as a person, and how I can relate them to their lives somehow. My favorite people have always bounced around, whether they’re real or fictional. I play numerous of video games, listen to almost every genre of music, and read several different types of books, so I change my mind all the time. As of recently, one of my favorite figures has been Max from a game called Life is Strange. The game itself is beautifully designed graphically and plotline wise, and it really makes you think. Max is clumsy and often drops various objects or ruins a simple piece of her investigations often, which I find relatable because I’m also quite clumsy. However, the clear difference between Max and I is that she can just reverse time and fix her issue, and I obviously cannot. Being able to reverse moments in time would be so useful in daily life, whether the situation is spilling water everywhere or accidentally crumple an assignment, or any other mistake I make on a daily basis. Though she uses it lessen the embarrassments of unfortunate situations, she also uses her powers selflessly to benefit others. When her friend Chloe’s boot gets wedged on train tracks and a train is speeding towards her, Max uses her powers to continuously reverse time about every minute while she finds a solution. Since she’s capable of changing time around her but remains in the same spot, she can use it to surpass physical obstacles that were in a different position before. I’d want to use the power to create a change in a person’s fate, like maybe warn someone if a car is coming and they’re about to cross the road or to be careful walking to a destination if I knew they were going to get hurt. She’s also able to focus on a picture and go to that place and point in time from when and where it was taken. I would want to do this not to change time, because then time gets messed up, but I’d use it to visit old times and see how people were at that time. Being able to control time would be a wonderful power, and I feel I’m responsible enough to use such a powerful ability
