Towards the end of the twentieth century a family immigrated to America. This family went by the name of the Smith’s and were composed of a man and his wife in their early thirties and their three year old son, Cain.The Smith had very little skills in the fundamentals of English and education so they were extremely poor and lived in poverty. Cain really understood the economic position that he was in when he met another young boy by the name of Abel. Abel lived in a big penthouse on the other side of town with his parents, his mother a well known fashion designer and his father a well-to-do businessman, two sister, and old brother. As Cain made dinner Sarah said she would turn on the television to entertain herself but the remote was nowhere to be found. Sarah eventually stumbled upon the remote and an old yearbook that Cain had from elementary school. “Odd” , Sarah said to herself. “Cain and I went to the same elementary school.” As she flipped through the yearbook she came across a younger, rugger looking Cain with what looked to be her brother.
“Cain” she called out. As Cain appeared in the living room she continued. “Who is the other kid”, she asked pointing to the other kid in the picture. “Ah” said Cain taking the yearbook out of her hand. “He was my best friend. What an amazing kid. Abel. I’m sure that was his name” he said admiring the picture feeling nostalgia thinking of his pal from the past. “That’s what I thought. I knew you seemed oh so familiar when we met” Sarah said getting her stuff. “You betrayed my brother and made a mockery of my family when we thought you cared for us. Goodbye Cain” said Sarah slamming the front door.
