Ms. Ana Ramirez-Rivera arrived at BHWS on 6/14/2016; Ms. Ramirez-Rivera is Hispanic, born and raised in Dominican Republic and is a Green Card holder. In the meeting, Ms. Ramirez-Rivers was appropriately dressed for the weather, she appeared her stated age, and appears to be in no acute distress. Ms. Ramirez-Rivera denied suicidal or homicidal ideation. Client is fluently in Spanish. She speaks and understands English a little. She emphasized that she prefers to speak in Spanish as it is her native Language.
Client entered the shelter system on 5/21/2016; she has three adult children (son 26, and two girls 28 and other 29). Ms. Ramirez-Rivera reported her son is currently residing with his wife and children in Miami with his mother-law. …show more content…
Client reported both of her daughters are on her budget. CM informed the client this is a Single Shelter and she needs to go to HRA and take off her daughters off her budget; and to have HRA re-budget her income. Client is not presently using any substance and reported no past history.
