“ Negro was something I was never entirely comfortable with”(McBride 89).Many biracial kids struggle with forming their identity because they are unsure if they should be black or white; they fail to realize that they can be whoever they want to be. Faced with judgments of both family and friends biracial children face great difficulty in the society that they live in.Young children form an opinion about race at a very early age which affects the way they perceive people in the world. This can cause depression again or even worse they can obtain some psychological disorders(Benedetto and Olisky).Biracial teens feel as though they need to be white to be invited to a party at college or they need to be white to even get into college. This takes the drive away from a biracial teen and they feel like they don 't belong at college. This then makes an educated biracial student feel uneducated which is an injustice. Fortunately there is a growing amount of biracial teens with confidence to try college out because they have a fair right to do just that.There is a growing number of organizations to help African American and Biracial students on campus. These organizations are formed from literature groups, poetry groups, history groups, rally groups, and newspaper staff(Williams). This helps biracial students conform into the college lifestyle with an open identity. Biracial students no longer have to live in a life where they have to decipher right from wrong because they conform to see that they create their own life and it is what they make of it. There also is no black versus white anymore. This concept is deteriorating as the world continues to spin which helps out biracial children more and more. Biracial children have helped conform our world into an open environment with their confidence to live as both opposing races at the same time. The future ahead looks
