Interview with former “abandoned” Kids

Where do you live? Why? I live in London, because it’s nothing like that horrid island with death all over it. Plus, it’s where my job is.
If you don’t mind me asking, what is your job?
I’m the manager of Merridew Butchering Factory. When I was in that island 16 years ago, I was butchering pigs. I only did that because my father was a butcher and I wanted to be just like him. It’s a family business. (pauses) In that island I wanted to provide for people just like my father did, but it all got out of control.
How did it get out of control?
We divided into two separate groups and torchered each other. I would make it impossible for them to live life happy. I would steal their food sources and break down their shelters. It was war. …show more content…
Not anymore, I’ve had 6 years of therapy with Dr. Thermis. She has helped me a lot and I mentally and physically feel better. I now understand that what I did to those poor little kids was horrifying and (coughs) outrageous.
Have you met with any of the kids from the Island in the past few years?
I didn’t purposely try to meet anyone, but I did. I stumbled across the former chief, Ralph. I saw him in the Christmas Parade about 3 years ago. We didn’t say anything to each other. (he said in guilt) What surprises me the most is that we still recognized each other after 16 years.
I hear you now have a family, does your family know you did this?
Not my children. I can’t imagine my little boys and girls thinking I’m a killer, but my wife does. She knows everything, but understands that none of this is my fault. I was just a
