An individual accomplishment I had that transition me into adulthood was buying my first car. Once I turned 16, I knew I would need one and my father told me he’ll help me get a car but wouldn’t help with the money. Working my summer away, working 35 hours a week, saving every dollar I earned. I still didn’t have enough for a decent car. My father saw how hard I was working so he took my to a car dealership. There I test drove vehicles, and I picked a car out. My father than financed the car and left the payments to me. At that moment I was in charge of the car payments, gas, and keeping my vehicle running in good condition. I felt more responsible, the car it self isn’t the best but I enjoy driving it.
