These have all been scientifically proved, but many people believe that global warming is a huge misunderstanding.
Their main reason for this is that there have been no significant and prolonged temperature changes since 1977. It is said that an upward swing in temperature started in 1975 and continued to 1977. Since then the temperature has remained flat in the last 17 years. This argument may be true but 17 years of temperature change is not by any means very long term. If we based everything on even a hundred year scale we would not get the most accurate statistics.
Another ridiculous reason is that the arctic ice has increased by 50 percent since 2012. “Core measures of the arctic ice show that it has increased in volume since 2012, which argues against global warming causing ice caps to melt.” First of all, not many scientists even argue that global warming cause ice caps to melt. Also, a few year time span of anything relating to the problem of global warming should just be saved to see in the future if what these scientists say hold true. Finally, with a bit of research one could find out about other factors that may play a role in the melting/freezing of the arctic
