The Nazis invaded the city and the Jewish people were only allowed in some parts of the city, one day Spizllman and his friend Dorota wanted to go to a cafeteria but they couldn’t enter because the Nazis closed some places for the Jewish people. In the next scene his family were trying to hide money because the Nazis didn’t allowed more than 2,000 zlotys and they had more than that. Then the Germans sent all Jewish people to the “guetto” and were placed in small rooms forcing them to die because of hunger. People were dying of hunger and little kids go to the other side and take food. One day a kid was trying to get food from the other side and the Germans started hitting him and he dies. Some days the Nazis go to the Jewish’s houses and still money. One night they went to a house and ask an invalid man to stand up, he couldn’t and they throw him through the window. It was difficult to earn money and food, onde day and old woman was going and an old man spill the food on the floor and eat it. Spizllman was working in a restaurant as a pianist to almost earn some money to eat him and his family. The Nazis were hunting people in the street including Henrik, but his brother talks with the Jewish police and they let him free. Spizllman talked with someone and now he and his family have work.
