Having A Dog Changed My Life

Register to read the introduction… One day Tacha was in the back yard getting some fresh air. I recall attaching her to the chain and going back in the house. About 1 hour later, the neighbor was banging on my front door screaming, “Come get your dog, come get your dog, she’s chasing my dog around and ripping my screen door down.” I ran to the neighbors rescue to find that Tacha was no longer at the door. I went into the back yard and found Tacha calmly sitting in the same place I left her. I went to check her chain and sure enough it was broken. She really broke loose from her chain and found her way back once she knew she did something wrong. Tacha would also take advantage of people, especially when someone new was walking her. If a new person took Tacha out for her walks, she would literally drag them down the street- more so walking them. She would break away from her leash and freely run around, but she would always find her way home. Having a dog changed my life; I understand firsthand how and why people treat their pets like family. I see why being without them makes you sad and when they pass away you actually bereave their loss. Losing Tacha hurt so bad, I found myself crying when I saw other dogs and reminiscing about all of the above memories. I even contemplating buying another dog, but couldn’t bring myself to do it. Her presence in my life was so pure I can’t imagine attempting to replace her. Tacha brought joy and happiness everyday to my life, and she will always be my first animal

After taking my dog for a three hour hiking trip that left us both excused, I returned home to paint the most time consuming and patience testing project I have ever done. Transcend-entalism is all about finding yourself and I may not have solved all of my numerous emotional issues, but I made a sudden realization about life. Well maybe not about life as a whole, but about my little mutt and myself. While I was walking around craving the comfort of my little screen that I left in the car, my dog, Ziva, could not have been more happy about what was going on around us. Her tail was wagging so fast I thought she was going to fly away when she saw another dog, her nose touched everything that it possible could, and her legs wanted to take her…

First things first, I have this dog named Bailey, he is a Shih Tzu/ Yorkie/Chihuahua mix, our little man is 14 years couple weeks ago, he would barely eat, yet alone move period. 2 weeks ago, my mother sat me down and basically told me she think’s it’s time to terminate his suffering. About a week ago, my parents and I set off to the vet, to make the suffering subside for my loved one, although for some reason he seemed absolutely energetic, all the while, waiting for the veterinarian, which was a blessing in disguise While my mom was sorrowing, my dad and me held our tears down, while playing…

What my dog has taught me Humans are basically social animals, and in learning to coexist more peacefully, our pets could teach us a thing or two. Humans are sometimes arrogant enough to believe that our lives matter more than others, but in owning a dog it 's clear to see why it doesn 't. I know some people consider their pets as a part of their families. I strongly agree with that stance towards the dog I have in my home. Having been a dog owner since the age of nine, I can claim that a lot of growing and maturing goes on during that timeframe. Pets have this ability to teach people things that even humans cannot.…
