Why people follow orders given by their authority figures? It's most likely because there highly influenced by these figures. So they will do anything for these figures even if they don’t like the order. An example of people following highly risked orders was Nazi soldiers in World War II. A person named Stanley Milgram actually created experiments on how far people would go to obey instructions in 1961.
Why people still do it if they don't like the order is because there just simply told too. Stanley Milgram says,when the teacher refused to administer a shock the experimenter was to give a series of orders to ensure they continued (McLeod pg.2). The teacher did not threaten them he just simply asked them to continue
