Overt discrimination is an obvious way of discriminating someone whether it is someone applying for a job or engaging in an activity. Even though it is illegal. Discrimination is very easy to spot, say for example you applies for a job and they turn you away for either being gay or a Muslim. Just because of who you are you shouldn’t be treated differently.
Covert discrimination:
Covert discrimination is the opposite overt discrimination. Convert discrimination is hidden it’s harder to catch. An example for convert discrimination is that if you apply for a job and although you have the same qualifications as another person applying for a job, they may not accept you for either your sex, race or religion.
