Knowing that Kids are a blessing from God. Not every individual is given the opportunity to conceive a child. Being scared of an unfamiliar situation is normal and contemplating abortion is a curiosity decision. At some point, Susan should be able to hold her head up high and welcome the child with open arms. “So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them” (Genesis 1:27 NIV). So, why would we destroy it?
The best course of action is to have the child and allow it to fulfill its purpose on earth. Having a child with Down syndrome is not unmanageable. Susan will be able to return to work after the maternity leave is up. That gives her plenty of time to create goals for herself in providing an incredible life for her child. Susan can provide herself with information on how to manage a Down syndrome child. Comparison
A Christian worldview resolution would result in providing a life for a child and helping them to see their fullest potential in life. Parents will also help their child in accomplishing their purpose in life. To the Christian worldview, abortion would result in murdering an unborn, defenseless child. This is considered a sin and against Gods commandments. “You shall not murder” (Exodus 20:13 NIV).
Atheism worldviews may not believe this is considered murder because the fetus is not an actual living human being. They also do live by Gods Ten Commandments. This could result in them going through with the abortion. Others, such as Richard may believe it is wrong to bear a child into a life of suffering. Whereas Christians believe every Human has a purpose to fulfill on earth.
6. Conclusion
After several years of trying to get pregnant, Susan final did it. After finding out that the baby had Down syndrome she was torn between two decisions: Aborting or keep the baby. Christians believe that God has created all of humanity. Your faith, love, and prayer are working through Jesus every challenging moment you go through you understand you are not alone. To the Christian worldview, abortion would result in murdering an unborn, defenseless child. This is considered a sin and against Gods commandments. Although having the baby will have, it challenges the benefits will out way

First, some fetuses have such severe disorders that death is guaranteed before or shortly after birth . “Imagine a human torso lacking arms and legs that will never develop mental abilities like self-consciousness, the ability to communicate, or the ability to reason. It seems quite obvious to some people that such a life is not worth living” (Gordon). In this case, it would be cruel to force women to give birth to babies with fatal congenital defects. Even in the case of nonfatal conditions, such as Down Syndrome, parents may be unable to care for a severely disabled child.…

Affecting 1 in 4,000 males and 1 in 8,000 females, Fragile X syndrome, a genetic condition involving changes in part of the X chromosome, which causes behavioral problems, is the most common genetic form of mental retardation. One in 800 babies have Down syndrome and one in 3,500 are born with Cystic Fibrosis. Many feel that a child should not have to live a life with such handicaps, and many parents do not have the time or money to constantly deal with traveling to countless doctors appointments and constant care. A 2005 study in the Perspectives on Sexual and Reproductive Health journal showed that 73% of women undergoing abortions were because they could not afford to raise a baby.…

This same approach also ties into many other churches and religions around the world, such as; American Baptist, Southern Baptist, Methodist, Christian, Buddhism, Episcopal, Hinduism, Islam, Evangelicals, and Presbyterian Churches. Many of these church groups believes life starts at conception and to abort a life, one is committing murder, which is a sin. While many churches are pro-life, some religious groups allow exceptions, such as in instances of rape or if the pregnancy can cause harm to the mother. The churches stand point on abortion does not always, exactly match the standpoint of the individuals attending the churches either. There is always one, whom does not fully agree with everything the Bible of their religious group goes by, so there is bound to be conflicting positions on this topic in church also.…

A theory about religion is that life starts at conception. People with other beliefs should not be forced to abide by this certain theory. Legal abortion today states that human life starts at birth, but when a baby is born, it grows and develops into a teenager, then a mature adult, until it finally becomes old and dies. Humans are made to develop and change, so a human becomes a human during conception.…

Since 1760 BC, abortions have been sought-out internationally. There are a variety of reasons for them: because sexually abused women do not desire for guardianship of the child, females do not want their body to be unfit because of pregnancy, or it was a careless mistake that could have been prevented with birth control or any other prevention method. Many women have nonessential abortions. One quintessential example of this is in China; they kill fetuses if the sonogram proves the unborn child to be female. Abortions should be illegal because it is unjust and purposeless slaughter to the unborn human being.…
