Critical thinking (CT) is an essential skill needed by humans in everyday life in order to aid us in making simple daily decisions as well as the most complex ones where one 's fate will be destined as a consequence. However, CT alone will not be as beneficial without expressing and executing your thoughts together with a collaborative and supportive team. Without thinking through our actions in life carefully, we may place ourselves and others around us in great dangers as a consequence. Critical thinking not only helps us control what we do every day it promotes us to be healthy citizens also impacting our choices in life that will help us reach our goals and obtain achievements.
The importance of collaboration has been undermined when students often unevenly distribute workload only to find it harder to complete the task efficiently as a result. Vygotsky 1978, 29 states that
“Students are more capable of performing at higher intellectual levels when asked to work in collaborative situations than when asked to work individually. Group diversity regarding knowledge and experience contributes positively to the learning process”.
