Dictionary.com defines adversity as an unfavorable fortune or fate; a condition marked by misfortune, calamity, or distress. People face adversity to make them stronger. Adversity is what separates the weak from the strong, the boys from the men, the idlers from the champions. The greatest stories come from those who overcame adversity and obstacles to reach their goals. Adversity was not something I would let stand in my path.

Within adversity, there are a series of tests/trials that one must face to conquer it. Adversity is in everything, including baseball.

My dad would inspire me to work hard and practice every day to help benefit my baseball career. My next of little league started, and I was feeling better than every before. I was hitting great and was playing tremendous defense. My team and I went farther than any of us every imagined, and managed to make it to the championship. However, adversity was not in our favor and we ended up losing the game. . However by some miracle, I ended up have the best batting average in the league within my age group. I felt great and I finally believed that I conquered adversity. I was elected to my all star team, and life was good. My last year of little league came around and my team was projected to win the championship. Things were great until the tournament. In our first game we lost to a lower seed team, and were knock out into the losers bracket. My team and I had lost hope. We miraculously won the next game and was sent to the championship. We battle and fought in a seven hour game, and managed to pull off a win. That was win I realized that I conquered adversity, and I accomplished my goal. The adversity I faced was like a brick wall, but I managed to find a way around
