Introduction, The reason why I chose this article was because there are a copious amount of issues involving police shooting. I did not know police brutality was that bad in our country until I did my research on police brutality. I found a lot of good article involving police shooting, most of the articles were very heartbroken. Furthermore, the reason I chose to do my paper on the Michael Brown article because this article made me did a lot of thinking reading it; base on the different articles the stories are not added up (when you read one article it says one thing and if you read another one it says something else). Furthermore, Officer Darren Wilson used deadly force and Michael Brown was unarmed. The use of deadly force by police officers is one that causes heated debate across the country. Officer involved shootings may result in public outrage, scandal for the officer and the police department, and intense feelings of guilt or depression on the part of the police officer involved following the shooting. While most individuals understand that the use of deadly force is sometimes necessary, not every police officer involved shooting is deemed as justified by the courts or the public. To begin with, this article was about an unarmed eight year-old black male by the name of Michael Brown, was shot and killed by a police officer by the name of Darren Wilson, in Ferguson, Missouri on August 9, 2014.
