Essay On Why I Chose To Attend This University

Before deciding to attend CTS my first initial desire was to learn the bible, become a minister and eventually teach the bible. My knowledge of the bible is very limited. I feel as though if I began with the bible first my life will be guided in the right direction as the Lord intended and everything else will all fall in place and be added onto my life. (Matthew 6:33).

My family life was not based from a strong religious back ground and is now becoming more religiously and spiritually inclined within my generation. I have absolutely no experience or knowledge or even have set eyes on the Hebrew Bible before this class. My past education and BS degree is not from the religious field it is in business operations management (DeVry). After graduating I developed an entrepreneurall spirit and began to go in that direction. I became knowledgeable about the church in my pre-teen years and began to attend more and more gradually gaining bits and pieces and trying to unscramble the puzzles of the Bible as I became an adult. My curiosity grew and I began to ask myself who, what and where do I began this journey of understanding.

I believe it is designed and left here to make our lifes run smoothly as we are here for a limited time. And without instruction we build ourselves a web of trouble and turmoil like little ants running around crashing into each other and walls etc., and alsobecause we continue to do things our way that are not instructed from the bible to do and therefore our lives become complicated and we as human tend sometimes self-destruct. Nevertheless are eyes open after much avale and we find our way back to the Lord and this is were we get back on track and things get
