I am now going to go through all the facts of this case and my come to my own conclusion. The plaintiff, Big M Drug Mart violated the Lord’s Day Act and challenged the law. The plaintiff claim that the act violated section 2a because the act forced all peoples of Canada to participate in a Christian tradition when the charter states that all Canadians have the freedom of religion. Not only that the Lord’s Day Act was stated to have no valid purpose other than to protect the sanctity of the Christian Sunday sabbath. Also section 27 enforces multiculturalism and thus only celebrating a Christian tradition violates this as well.…

After analyzing Susan Saladoff’s Hot Coffee, one can say, with confidence, that communication is essential. Without it, people can and most of the time, will be misinterpreted. Sometimes, the magnitude of misinterpretation can be so large that it distorts the standpoints of the public. In the film, when outsiders are asked about Stella Liebeck’s hot coffee case, viewers see that none of the answers are identical. One woman assumed that Ms. Liebeck “pulled up, took the coffee, and dumped it” (Saladoff).…

“Don’t you want to go where everybody knows your name” (cheers) Is the jingle that was the theme song for an old tv series called Cheers. Cheers were the name of the bar that was a small family and everyone knew each other that came in. The people were so comfortable that they continued to come back because they felt like the people and the owner of this bar valued them not for the income that they help generate or just another customer. This is how my small company will survive and beat Wal-Mart because they do value their customers. I would like to have a customer’s appreciation day and possible award cards similar to Kroger’s where you’re able to receive discounts if you are a registered shopper.…

I never heard any bad complains about any of them. The only bad controversy that I heard it’s about the red cup from Starbucks, which right now is a big controversy over their red cup, it’s very simplistic-an ombre from bright red to dark cranberry. In a personal opinion I think people has too much free time to waste and they don’t have anything else to do but make controversy over nothing, a red cup means “nothing” if Starbucks choose the cup for the Christmas holidays them let them used people should be concern on what it’s going on the world like the killing of innocent people in France, Syria and other parts of the…

“The Fast-Food Fight” Some may argue that fast-food has become the new tobacco. Over the years, we have become highly educated on the health related concerns of smoking, as well as the significant health issues associated with overeating. Fast-food consumption has caused great alarm among Americans and is a controversial issue of who is to blame as well as who should take action. Although many critics believe that fast-food consumption is an individual issue and the government should not be involved with one’s personal eating habits, I would argue that some amount of government intervention is needed. While it is understandable that people want to eat what they desire, many people have allowed the convenience and glorification of fast-food in American to take precedence over the unhealthy risks of a fast-food diet.…
