An Argument Against Racism In The United States

Improved Essays
Many activist did a good job fighting racism and they made big change. However, racism has been going throughout the world for many years, because there are over billion people in this world with different thought. I am strongly against with people who thinks we are different based on our race, because it is against God’s creation. Racism can be saying offensive words, and bad behaviors against another race.
First of all, racism is sin. In the Bible, James 2:8-9 says, “If you really keep the royal keep law found in scripture, ‘love your neighbor as yourself, you are doing right. But if you show favoritism, you sin and are convicted by the law as lawbreakers.” This isn’t only in Bible, it is also in another religious with different versions. God will see and judge you as lawbreaker.

The one throughout the world, mostly known word is the offensive word, the N-word. This isn’t only for blacks, Asians are called “yellow” and other racist words. Because people were using this before doesn't mean we have to use it too. I strongly disagree to discourage someone. It is painful mentally and physically.
Many people act and have bad behavior towards other people based on their color. People threatens another race by members like KKK(KU Klux Klan) and other members. In this world, there are a lot of violent riots toward another race. One of the main riots was Watts riot of 1965. This riot was a racial riot against black or African-Americans.
In conclusion, racism is still in the world affecting many people from their job, public transportation, from school, e.t.c. Racism is atrocious in many ways, such as physically and mentally. This is why i strongly against and disagree. Everyone should be treated

Our society is like a statue, they both need the proper structure needed in order to keep it steady, but when one piece does not fit, then they will both topple down. Although statues may not relate to the problem, racism can relate to the one piece that does not fit, and this problem is explained in the articles " Black Men In Public Spaces", by Brent Staples, and " Is Everyone A Little Bit Racist" , by Nicolas Kristof. These articles dive into the topic of how racism affects everyday lives and how detrimental it is to the society and the people within. Also, it shows the unfortunate story of a victim of racism. Unless changes are made, racism will rule supreme in communities and there will be nothing for people to stop it.…

Before any sports event it is common that there will be a specific song played to honor America and those brave people who have fought for the freedom we have today. For this song it is also common for people to stand, take off their hats, and maybe even put their hand on their heart out of respect for the men and women who have served our country over the years. Those men and women have fought for our freedom and it is our way as citizens of a free country, to show respect and give thanks by these simple gestures while the National Anthem is being played. This has never been a topic of debate until recent outbreaks of discord throughout America due to racial inequality. Race is one of the most contentious topics in today’s society, and the…

What do you think of when you hear racism the KKK or maybe the Nazis, but there are so much more difficult facets to the complex anomaly. Racism can be far more delicate and tricky, and many people of different races face this informal, everyday racism more often than we think. Racism occurs everywhere in politics, schools, at the park, on TV the list can go on forever. I’m mostly focusing on Racism in the United States and how this great nation’s has racism alive in all types of societies. The KKK or the Ku Klux Klan is a white supremacist group notorious for the terrorism, murdering, and hanging of African American people.…

Many types we call this word and describe it in many situations that insults people who are different from someone else. In one of the examples that a man name Brent Staples who has been discriminated by many whites and sometimes mistaken as a burglar his stories is told in “Black men in Public Spaces” and another man write “Is Everyone A Little Racist” By Nicholas Kristof . The reason that we also deluded ourselves that we are superior than other people causing them to to feel rejected and sometimes lower their moral and fail school. CLAIMSMAKING What is the definition of a social problem? According to Joel Best, a social problem is anything that takes place within a society that is considered an issue and affects people as a whole. It isn’t recognized as a problem unless society feels the need to acknowledge it as one. Therefore, it is a condition that harms society that must be acknowledged in order to be an issue. As I began to research what I wanted to do my paper over, I reflected on the multitudes of things happening in the United States of America.…

Racism is a very big problem in America and we need to find ways to solve it or overcome it that is the main reason for this paper. To overcome means to get rid of the problem or make it to where the problem does not really exist in your life anymore. The true meaning of racism does not really make sense, but when people think of racism they normally think of the news and all the nasty stories they hear about black people. Also the beating problem in America which is police brutality against people in the black community. It is horrible that the world has once again come to this and it will probably never go away if people don't start talking and understand what the real problem is we went through the awful face of Jim Crow Laws and horrible…
