Romeo and Juliet who’s to blame. Love ends with the sight of death. Romeo and Juliet is a play created by William Shakespeare in 1597. Romeo and Juliet is not just a love story. The play places a young man and girl in Verona, Italy who want to be in love each other. Many problems appear because of their love. They are unable to be with each other publicly, the families have no idea they want to be together, and Romeo and Juliet can't trust their own family. The man who caused the deaths of Romeo and Juliet is Romeo.
"The quarrel is between our masters and us men" - Gregory, Capulet (page 993, Act one. Scene 1). The rivalry between the Montagues and Capulet , Romeo still defies his family by being in love with a girl from the other family. The prince of Verona tells both families that if there seen fighting each other again they will be punished with death. People might think Laurence caused Romeo's and Juliet's deaths because he helped them marry, he created a poison for Juliet, and he wanted to marry them even tho both of Romeo's and Juliet's families hate each other. Romeo and Juliet forced their relationship onto Laurence and that make him think the since he is a religious man he should help them. "May the heavens be happy with this holy act of marriage, so nothing unfortunate happens later to make us regret it." - Friar Laurence(Page 1034, Act 2. Scene 5). They are wrong because Laurence is a religious man who would help anyone who wants to marry. Laurence is also Romeo's friend and helping friends is the right thing to do.
