From 1986 to 1991, N.W.A shined light on their realities and everyday lives of living in the hood. Also in those five years, the group endured years of controversy due to their extremely explicit lyrics and song topics on drugs, crimes, and police brutality. N.W.A released their second studio album in 1999, titled “Efil4zaggin” (Niggaz4life spelled backwards). On Cube’s first solo album, he had avoided direct attacks on N.W.A, but on Death Certificate, Ice Cube's second full-length release, he responded to the disses. This feud went on for a bit before Ice Cube’s released his infamous track titled “No Vaseline.” In it, he individually dissed each remaining member of N.W.A and Jerry

Hip-hop shows portray feeling and emotions towards a way of life or people and can be taken just as a song to dance to while also another person has taken it as a certain message to them or their feelings and beliefs. But as I grew up and matured more I was able to understand the songs more…
